You can't do much better than Emile's on south 2nd between San Salvador and Reed streets. Continental and fine, tho' not cheap. Emile's also has fine cooking classes, as well. Superb eating if you're willing to pay. Be prepared to spend some time eating, the food demands it. Call them and let them know your plans and they'll recommend an appropriate reservation time.
