The Hyatt has a nice Sunday brunch but you say you don't want a buffet. The Hyatt's restaurants are okay. Expensive, very, for what they are, but okay. Walk across Capitol Park to 14th & O. There's a Mexican place named "Vallejo's" there. They have incredible breakfasts for not much. $3.75 gets you a huge plate of a very tasty Mexican breakfast. They have several to choose among. More of a walk is "The Fox and the Goose" at 10th & R Streets. Many enjoy their breakfasts and brunches. At 16th & N is "Luna's". It's not a fancy place but been there a long time. They have a credible breakfast menu. It's also a great place for a liquado. I'm not a fan of Old Sac. I don't consider the restaurants there a destination. At 19th and Capitol, about 8 blocks from the Hyatt, is Greta's. They have brunch items. Downtown is sort of vacant on the weekends. If you want recommendations for other types of restaurants, just email me. I've posted stuff about Sacramento several times before on this group.
