Recommendations in Del Mar, CA area

 Pacifica Del Mar, 1555 Camino Del Mar (atop the Del Mar Plaza at 15th street).
 +1 619 792 0476.   Quintessential California Cuisine.  One of my favorite
 restaurants in town.

 Cilantro's, 3702 Via de la Valle.  Nouvelle Southwest.  +1 619 259 8777.

 (I'm not a big fan of their sister restaurant, Epazote, across from Pacifica
 Del Mar - nice view, occasionally the food is good, but mostly the best thing
 to do there is to have coctails at sunset.  Generally the services leaves
 a lot to be desired).

 Del Mar and La Jolla aren't far apart (~15 miles), by the way.

 I haven't been in this area in about three years, so my knowledge of the
 local restaurant scene is not current.  But, if Pacifica Del Mar still
 exists, I strongly recommend it.  Try the Wok Charred Catfish.  It's
 excellent.

  Don't forget Kirby's Diner. Everything from eggs to Buffalo burgers. Great
 Popovers, and very reasonable prices.
