There is a restaurant called "The Ranch", I believe, in Ojai which is quite good. Mostly outdoor dining in a very nice setting - surrounded and shaded by trees, stream flowing through the eating area, etc. Very expensive, but good food and terrific setting.
Santa Barbara, CA
Good place to eat in Ojai, Calif?

I highly recommend Downeys for dinner. In fact, for our anniversary this year we drove 100 miles to Santa Barbara just for the pleasure of eating there. 1305 State ST. (between Victoria and Sola Streets) Santa Barbara 805-969-6705 You will also need to eat lunch. Let me recommend La Super-Rica Taqueria. These tacos are a cut above. My husband and I have been known to make the 100 mile drive on a Saturday just for the tacos (as if there weren't enough tacos in L.A. but these are really special). I especially recommend the #4. 622 N. Milpas St. Santa Barbara 805-963-4940 Have a good vacation. Kay
