I've had $200 meals that I thought were reasonably priced based onthe quality of the food, service and surroundings. But I am guessing you are seeking out more (as opposed to less) affordable places. Here a few recommendations: Kokomo's and/or The Gumbo Pot at the Farmer's Market Brent's Deli - in Northridge, but worth the drive. Best deli in SoCal by far! In and Out Burger! Serenata Gourmet on Pico - a bit more expensive than the rest of my list, but well worth it. Mexican (specializing in seafood) like you have never had before. Hampton's - in Hollywood, nice offering of burgers and the like La Frite - in Sherman Oaks, great Bistro food, lousy service, best creme brulee anywhere I hate spam, so remove a "syn" before replying via email.
