   Regarding 'Anthony' sea food restaurants, I still think they're
   darn nice in the context of a 'family restaurant' with decent
   (i.e. non-horrible) prices. We ate at Anthony's locations in
   LaJolla, Chula Vista, and downtown (harbor) in October <- we
   enjoyed each location. Good food at each. LaJolla location
   clearly more upscale in selection and price. Harbor location was
   somewhat noisy (Friday evening) ... Chula Vista location quite
   pleasant. ENJOYED EACH MEAL. <- now it's not "GOURMET" (except
   at the other fancy one at the harbor) -->> just darn good, family,
   quality, well prepared .... [ P.S. -> it's been very nice for
   many years -> and still is ! ! ]

 They are all atmosphere--the food sucks! I've tried giving them a chance--
 I've been to them maybe 10 times over the last 15 years--and only once did
 I get a decent meal. There are other fish restaurants which are much better--
 The Fish Market has always served great fish (plus I prefer its atmosphere
 to Anthony's), McCormick and Schmidt hasn't served me a bad dish yet, and
 The Spot has great Fish & Chips (better than Anthony's "Fishette"). Humphrey's
 also usually does a good job, though I've had some overcooked fish a couple
 of times.

 For some non-traditional places for Fish, Aesop's Tables has great fish kabobs
 (especially when they have Swordfish kabobs :) ). My favorite place for fish
 is probably Mille Fleurs...

 I just went to Anthony's and I too found it overpriced and the
 fish overcooked. If you just want fresh, good, grilled fish go
 to The Fish Market and have an Anchor Steam on tap to boot :->
