For several years running we've bought the Entertainment books which give you the second (less expensive) entree for free. We've been to a lot of interesting places we would not have otherwise visited, some of which have been real finds. Vince's Gondola on Main (think it's in San Gabriel) is a real hit with us. Small, family run Italian place with good food and not particularly expensive. Anyhoo, you might give it a try. Works for us. They're not all hits, but the price is right and you'll get to some pretty interesting places. Morris [email removed]
