My vote for the best hamburger in the bay area goes to Val's, which is on the corner of Center & B Street in Hayward (I think). They also have real milshakes, floats & ice cream soda (real == lots of ice cream) Other burger places I have enjoyed are: Clark's: On El Camno near Castro in mountain view Kirk's: On California in Palo Alto Although I have eaten may hundred burgers, so far no other places have made my A list.
