Greens does a very nice Sunday brunch (from a menu, not a buffet), and I always see lots of families with kids there. The morning is also the best time to enjoy the view of the Golden Gate from their big picture windows! Brian Kingsbury

Greens also has a big array of pastries and sweets. Here's another brunch suggestion. Not long ago I went with friends and their two kids to Bocca Roti on West Portal. This newish place is serving fine food in a somewhat out-of-the-way neighborhood. It's definitely kid-friendly, and there are banquettes for the little ones to squirm around on if they don't want to sit in a high chair. LJ
