North side of Parthenia between Corbin and Tampa. Just a few miles from Chatsworth. Order anything that looks good to you except the potato skins. The Black Pastrami Reuben is a classic. I've been known to have one for breakfast. Forget Jerry's Famous, Nate n Al's and Cantor's, Brent's is LA's best deli. Consistently scores 25+ in Zagat. Other SF Valley faves, a little further east: LaFrite - on Ventura Blvd in Sherman Oaks. Eclectic bistro menu, all good, service can be strange. My favorite Creme Brulee in the world. Pinot Bistro - part of Joachim Splichal's empire. The best restaurant in the Valley. A little pricey, but worth every penny. Excellent special event dinners. We don't care for the back room, but everywhere else is great.
