The food served in ABC seafood rest. in Foster City is lousy. They try to be in the same category as Fook Yuen, HongKong Flower lounge in Millbrae and San Mateo or East Ocean in Emeryville. Too bad, it is not even close. We had a few dinners in the past at ABC, but last week one was the worst. I would say they are getting worse and worse. We had a traditional dish, Clam in black bean sauce. It turns out half of the shells are empty. The vegetable was like being boiled for hours. The chicken was dry and meat was tough. We had some spare ribs on a pot, and it turns out very watery and too big to serve. The best dish was the boiled prawns. It is the best because the prawns were live and the way to cook was just to boil them with plain water. In other words, it never went into the secret kitchen. Service is just average considered the grade they try to be. Price is at the same level as the above mentioned restaurants. If I choose, I will never go there. -Frank
