A couple of years ago my wife got a new co-worker, from Mainland China via LA, who has been scouting all the South Bay Chinese places ever since. Ma's is one of her favorites. I have had stir-fried lamb with home-made wide noodles which was out-of-this-world (as take-out.) I'll ask her what are some other good dishes.

There is a Malaysian specialty, preserved nutmeg I think, which we cannot find in Oriental stores around here. In Malaysia there are two different styles. I wonder if this Zen would carry them.
