Among the photographs in this group, this one stands out for including Helene Robison Britton, who owned the St. Louis National League club and was one of the few women to hold a controlling stake in a major league team at the time. She appears alongside Garry Herrmann of the Cincinnati Reds and Charles Ebbets of the Brooklyn Dodgers, prominent figures in the league's business affairs. The Bain News Service made the glass negative in 1913, and the names come from research by the Society for American Baseball Research's Pictorial History Committee. The picture offers a useful record of who ran the National League in the early 1910s.
