Trebisonda "Ondina" Valla, an Italian hurdler, is the subject here, and the caption identifies her as the winner of the women's hurdles race at the 1936 Berlin Olympics. Valla took the 80-meter hurdles title there, and she was the first Italian woman to win an Olympic gold medal in athletics. The print comes from Leni Riefenstahl's photographic album of the XI Olympiad, which she produced in 1936 alongside her work on the official Games film. The record notes that its caption data are unverified, so the identification rests on the card rather than an independent check.
