The Hall of Science, one of the exhibition halls at Chicago's Century of Progress International Exposition, is the building this poster singles out, boasting that its interior and exterior were painted with Valdura products. The fair ran on the lakefront in 1933 and 1934 to mark a century of Chicago's growth, and its planners made bold color a signature, earning the grounds the nickname "Rainbow City." This silkscreen was issued by the Chicago firm W.L. Stensgaard & Associates, whose advertising turned the fair's new buildings into a showcase for the paint line.
