Few of the sporting prints on this board name a matchup as plainly as this one, which pits Andover against Exeter in a game played at Exeter on November 7. The artist, Bristow Adams, drew the design, and Andrew B. Graham reproduced it in color by photo-lithography for the Potomac Press in Washington, D.C. The long-running rivalry between these two New England preparatory schools made their autumn meetings a fixture of the sporting calendar, and the poster shows how a commercial printer could turn a school contest into a keepsake.
