Two children in winter coats and knitted caps stand together on a snowy path, a detail that sets this card apart from the many holly-and-robin designs on the same board. The "With Best Wishes" lettering suggests it was meant to be posted as a simple seasonal greeting, the sort of card families sent to relatives and friends in the early twentieth century, when printed Christmas cards were growing popular in America and Europe.
