Hans, a boy in Feininger's dream fantasy, takes a survey of the scenery while the household dozes around the fireplace, a scene that gives this page its title line. Lyonel Feininger, an American-born artist then living in Germany, drew *Wee Willie Winkie's World* for the Sunday color supplement of the *Chicago Sunday Tribune*. This page ran on December 30, 1906, and shows the imaginative, dreamlike comic invention that made the series stand out among American newspaper strips of the period.
