When you are in Milwaukee, you might want to try the following restaurants: John Ernst on Ogden for German cuisine, Old Town on Lincoln (near South side) for excellent Serbian food, Grenadiers (downtown), Sanford (near downtown on Jackson)...nationally known restaurant...Chip and Pye's in Mequon if you are in the northeastern suburbs, Third Street Pier downtown, and the Boulevard Inn which is in the Cudahy Towers downtown near the lake.

Also, Milwaukee is the city of festivals with ethnic festivals going all summer. The grandest of all is Summerfest with lots of music, all kinds, and lots of food, all kinds.

Have a good time!

Karl Ratches' (phonetic spelling - not sure of the correct one) is a fun, traditional German restaurant downtown. Some of the college's have nice, manageable art museums. Beach volleyball, fishing and bicycling all popular.
