I went to school in at UND in Grand Forks and the only place I can remember was a place called Frenchies, just west of campus. I can assure you it's not fast food. But on the way back if you are driving on interstate 94 from Minneapolis to Chicago you need to save you appetite for a place called the Norski Nook. It is located in the town of Osseo, Wisconsin, just off 94. They are world famous for the pies but the Norwegian hospitality and dinners are great. If you hit it at noon there will likely be a slight wait, but well worth it. Don't miss it and enjoy the lunch specials. Save room for the pie! Tom Knudtson
