Well I live south west of Chicago and I go up to Port Washington, Wisconsin 3-4 times a year for lunch they have the best Lemon Meringue pie in the Midwest. Smitty's Fish Shanty restaurant. Have been going for about 14 years. We then stop at a smoke house and bring home fresh smoked fish for dinner. Their clam chowder is excellent; and worth the trip.
