Flavio's in Apollo

Went to this place last evening for my wife's birthday after a
 dissapointing experience the previous week.
I have to say that though I don't go there often, everytime I have
been there the service has been superb and food excellent.
My wife got the surf and turf (lobster and Filet) and has never had
 better
and I have to agree - (I tried it as well).

I have to admit that my favorite Filet has always been the Wonderbar
in Bridgeport, WV followed closely by Ruth's Criss. Flavios was easily
the equal of that. Was I lucky or is it that good all the time? I
 will have to see.

On the other hand a formerly favorite place in eastern suburbs has
always been Carino's in Vandergrift. When I ate there last week they
tried to pass off a butterflied tough Sirloin as Filet Mignon - won't
be going back there anytime soon. To their credit they didn't make me
pay after I complained (we couldn't eat it anyway).
