Christopher's in Coupeville, 23 Front Street, with fresh Captain City ales on draught. Cafe in front, nice dinner restaurant in back.

Oak Harbor Brewing Co. brewpub up in O.H. at 32295 SR 20. Cafe and pub eats, fresh beers from in-house brewery and the parent brewery in ... Langley. Ah well.

On the North end of Oak Harbor on HWY 20 is a wonderful restaurant called Kasteel Franssen. Chef Scott Fraser is a young and talented chef. Food and wine are both exceptional. Prices are very reasonable. Listed in Best Places. If anyone happens by this restaurant, ask for Scott and mention how you heard about it. He'd get a big kick out of that.

Tell him d'meatman says HI!
