My favorite place for seafood in Seattle is Chandler's. I took my three kids
 there with no problem.

Seattle is fabulous in August!! IMHO its one of the best months to visit
 here!!

Definately check out Robert Harmon's webpage listing some of our great
offerings...I'd add Kaspar's on Queen Anne as a restaurant not to be
missed. Not only is the food fabulous, but the presentation is amazing!

A more casual choice might be Maggie Bluffs by the Elliott Bay Marina -
it's much more publike and has a fabulous view of downtown and ferries.
If your friend is here on Sunday, s/he should definately go to Salty's on
Alki for brunch - another great view and food combo...

Feel free to email me directly if there are particular
cuisines/atmospheres you would like suggestions for...

Hope your friend has a great time here!!
