For Chinese go to The Greenwood Mandarin. They're at about N 89th St
on Greenwood Ave N. Be sure to have the Sizzling Rice Soup -- it's
 the best I've ever 'et!

There's a really good Japanese place in Redmond (east side of Lake
Washington), the name of which escapes me at the moment. I'd look it
up for you, but I live in Oklahoma City now and don't have a SEA phone
book! The restaurant is in a little strip mall just East of the QFC
on the main drag through Redmond. Anybody else know the one I'm
 talking about???

Well here is what tops my list:

 Chinese:

Ming Tree (very Americanized - HUGE portions, try the house specials)

 Japanese:

Nikko's (love the atmosphere, good Purple Haze drinks)

 Thai:

House of Rice (the cheapest best eats in the state)

kikuya, i think is how it is spelled. If it is the same place I am
thinking of -- in a small strip mall -- great sushi. enjoy.

I wouldn't eat at The Keg if it were the last restaurant on Earth.

I've been there twice (two different locations), and both times, the
food was barely edible. The prices are obscene given the extraordinary
low quality of the food that was served -- especially the beef, which
I recall as one of the worst cuts of meat I've ever attempted to
 consume.

 Just my $0.02...
