Seattle Tex-Mex restaurant

I can't speak for authenticity [God forbid that Tex-Mex food might taste
good in Seattle w/o being exactly like some expatriate's memory of a
restaurant in Houston :^) ], but there is a place I really like in
 Belltown.

It's called Two Dagos from Texas (it is run by people who proudly fit that
description) and it is not listed in the phone book because US West didn't
want to offend Italian-Americans, or Italian-Canadians visiting from BC,
or Italian-Italians visiting from Italy. In spite of this corporate good
 citizenship the place stays busy.

They serve Tex-Mex, Italian and Cajun dishes. They have about 170 menu
items. Dinners are pretty expensive ($12-$22) for a first visit but
lunches are reasonable. ($6-$15). Lasagna and a few other things take
longer, but they offer a wide range of fish, beef, chicken and pasta
dishes. Not very many for vegabletarians, alas.

I recommend the spicy chicken sandwich, the 'Tiger Cries' appetizer, the
gorgonzola cheeseburger, and I think probably any of the burritos. The
pastas, esp. the lasagna, are also great. They have micros on tap and a
full bar. They even have darts and the owner hosts on some shifts, while
 the other cooks.
