F.X. McCrory, opposite the Kingdome is fun and the food is good.

Saleh al Lago may be the best restaurant in Seattle (by Green Lake).

This is going to seem odd coming from someone rom halifax, Nova Scotia but
rest assured, I used to hang around Seattle looking for fried cow a lot ! I
really enjoyed F.X. McRory's which has a great oyster bar and wondrous
beef. Recently I noted in a new newsgroup called seattle.eats (check it
out) a resounding preference for the Metropolitan Grill -- which I haven't
been to -- over F.X. Worth trying it sounds. I used to also really enjoy
F.X's sister restaurant near Seattle Centre, Jake O'Shaughenessy's which
professes to have the largest selection of single malt Scotch this side of
the old country (F.X. McRory's makes similar claims in the bourbon
department). Jake's had (this is a few years back, mind you) great
salt-roasted beef and fine alder-barbecued salmon as well as numeous other
fish and steak entrees. I heard, however, that it had slipped in quality in
the past couple of years. See what the seattle.eats folks say.
