OK Corral

My sweetie and I decided to try the OK Corral on 85th & Greenwood last
weekend. This newsgroup had several very positive posts about it and
the accolades were deserved. I had the catfish dinner, my first experience
with it, and it was out of this world. The breading was very light and had
a little heat, which I like; the fish was cooked to a turn and not a bit
of grease. It came with beans and rice, also very good, and a choice of
greens or potato salad. The greens were quite tasty and another first for
me. Cornbread was pancake-style. Companion had the "Hook-Up" which is
definitely for someone with appetite and room. But, lucky me, I got
samples of it all and it was scrumptious- hot link, fall-off-the-bone
smoked chicken and pork ribs with LOTS of meat on them. It is a hoot
ambience-wise:vinyl seat/formica booths with a roll of paper towels on top
and a jukebox with an eclectic selection. No curtains, no placemats, no
kidding-I can't wait to go back!

After reading the good posts I, too, made a point to stop by on a recent trip up from L.A. Delicious. Beats the pants off both BBQ places in Woodinville (altho I do like the ambience at the Armadillo BBQ).

OK Corral will be a regular stop for me from now on.
