We just got back from a visit to Seattle. While there we found a pretty
funky Mexican place. It's called Casa-U-Betcha and is between downtown
and the Seattle Center (2212 First Ave-between Blanchard and Bell). Food
was good, looks like they have live music on the weekends (we were there
on an uncrowded Monday night). Have fun!

Seattle is not known for a plethora of Mexican restaurants. That being
said, I have to admit that I love El Puerco Lloron in the Pike Place
Market Hill Climb (right next to Procopio - the city's best gelato.) El
Puerco has excellent and authentic food served in a place which is best
described as "Early Tijuana." The salasa are fresh and the homemade
torillas are made without lard. It's a family run place with most people
 speaking in rapid fire Spanish.

Also in Pike Place market is Copacobana which is a very interesting South
American restaurant. It's been a while since I've been there but I
remember it being really good with lots of veggie options as well as
 traditional dishes.

 Cheers. - Elizabeth
