I don't know if it qualifies as "good food" - it certainly isn't haute cuisine
 - but my husband and I have always been partial to the Old Pequiliar at 1722 NW
Market Street in Ballard. It's got some of the freshest Guiness on the coast,
and a lot of personality. Food is typical English/Irish grub; their Irish stew
is very tasty. Not exactly a classy joint, but we always had fun. Many of the
staff and clientele are Brits of various nationalities.
