I've been to Gaucho's a few times now and the food is pretty
outstanding if you order right. Highly recommended are the
aged meats and the wild mushroom risotto. The New York Steak
done rare/medium rare can be ordered for either one person
or two and is one of the best I've had in Seattle. I was
somewhat dissapointed by the veal masala, at least in
comparison to the NYSteak. The wild mushroom risotto
is *the* best in Seattle, hands down, Unless someone
can recommend a better one elsewhere. El Gaucho's can
add up though. Dinner for two (two entrees) with drinks, possible
appetizers can run approx. $70 at least. Of course if one
person orders the risotto and the other a meat or seafood
based dish, two will be fed extremely well (and a cheaper
 bill) and won't leave
overstuffed, as is usually the case at El Gaucho...

On another note, my partner and I will be trying The
Metropolitan Grill this weekend. Neither of us have
 ever tried it. ANy recommendations?
