Very loud, and not at all romantic. IMHO, of course. Have you been to Palisade? Near Magnolia... very good food, if expensive.

It is really busy and we had to wait one hour and twenty minutes for a table. And we called early to get on the waiting list! It is real noisy, so if you want romance...forget it. The portions are extremely huge, so you need to be wary of ordering too much food. Food is pedestrian. Service is friendly. Take her to Rays, (downstairs) and enjoy the sunset over the Olympics and Puget Sound. Happy Anniversary.

Cheese' for adults. If you're looking for something more romantic, I'd suggest Il Bistro. Located below De Laurentis at the Pike Place Market, offering fine Italian style fare in a warm, intimate setting. Great, unobstrusive service. -Wes Wes Neuenschwander Seattle, WA
