There's a great place in Carnation? Duvall? but its not upscale, its down
home diner. Fabulous brunch can be had at Marco's downtown on 1st Ave, and
I've heard Pescatore at the Locks has good brunch, also I think that
Palisades has a killer brunch: gotta have the sourdough macadamia nut
pancakes with apricot butter ;-) Also I'm particularly fond of Cafe
 Campagne.

Where else... oh, there's always the Salish ;-)

A friend took me to a good one in Eastlake. It's called "14 Carrot Cafe"
at 2305 Eastlake Avenue East, Seattle, WA--(206)324-1442. We were there
around 11am on a Saturday, and the place was packed! They have great
fresh-squeezed orange juice (I noticed that practically everyone in the
 place had a glass...).
