We had a great time at Uncle George's Tavern in Bethesda

A Greek friend of mine took us to a new Greek restaurant in Bethesda, Uncle
George's Tavern. We six people ended up ordering more than we could eat and drink including beer, wine, appetizers, and entrees, but the bill was less than $100. Since no one was sober enough to calculate ($98 + 15 % tip)/6 we just decided to pay $20 each. The waiter was friendly enough to deserve the 20 % tip, anyway. 8-)

According to my Greek friend, this place is pretty good in terms of the
authenticity of food. Kokorettsi (sp?) was, uh, quite tasty. 8-)

It's on Fairmont Ave. When you come from Old Georgetown Road, it's
on your right.
