Washington, DC
Washington D.C. Top Restaurants
Kinkeads is tops - its specialties are seafood & fish, but offers other things, too - Robert Kinkead won the James Beard award this year as best chef in the Southeast (or it might have been Mid-Atlantic, can't remember exact geographical designation). We go every time we go to DC and find that everthing he does is outstanding. Also very good is Vidalias On 3 Nov 1995, Geri wrote: > I will be entertaining clients for 5 days in Washington D.C. Italian: Filomena (Wisconsin, just south of M)
Nora (probably the finest restaurant in DC...located in Adams Morgan)
French: Jean-Louis at the Watergate
the place at Penn and at 9th(?) and Penn...can't remember the
name, but it's adjacent to the Navy Memorial
Seafood: Morton's Steak House in G'town has great seafood! Chinese: Mr. K's on K ST at 21st...nicest Chinese rest anywhere! "Other": Can't beat the view from Sequoia on the Waterfront
Citronelle at the Lantham Hotel on M St is renowned for its haute cuisine
