In both Chicago and Atlanta (we have one here in DC too!) there is a restaurant called Soul Vegetarian. (Their slogan is "All Vegan All the Time!!!) It's the best ever. The one in DC is the best (I live for their BBQ tofu), followed by the one in Atlanta, then Chicago. Also in Chicago there is the Chicago Diner. It's yummy too.
