While still not close to Maryland, Kazan's in McLean would be a bit closer to you (less of a drive down 123).  The food is excellent. Take 123 (north) into McLean, and turn right on Old Dominion Dr. Kazan's is in a shopping center, just behind a strip mall, between Chain Bridge Rd and Beverly Rd.

Anatolia, on the hill, Pennsylvania Ave SE at about 6th St, comes to mind.  Not quite MD, but good food.
