As you can guess, >it does Cajun and Thai food. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Actually, the restaurant combines Cajun and Thai food. Weird, but good. Cajun Bangkok has been listed in Washingtonian's 100 best cheap eats for at least two years (it used to be in Wheaton before moving to Old Town). Brian

Tim asks: >Where is the closest thai restaurant to the Beltway and Rt. 1? I assume >it is in Alexandria. well, there are many Thai places in Northern Virginia -- most of them (IMHO) much better than the ones in the District. i would highly recommend both: Po Siam (in Arlandria) [they are wonderful and cheap, a small hole-in-the-all casual restaurant, great for carryout as well. their Pad Thai is marvelous, and their Noodles of the Drunks are amazing. their Yum salads are some of the best i've had]. also, the Crystal Thai is another *great* Thai restuarant, in Arlington. [they're a little more upscale, but the prices are about the same. extensive and tasty menu. highlights: Pad Talay, Pork with Green Beans, Garlic Shrimp, Panang, etc. etc.] i don't live in NoVA anymore, so i can't give you exact locations, but both are accessible and easy to find. alekz
