Jaleo on 7th street has a good selection of Tapas. I believe Coco Loco further down 7th has Tapas as well.

Jaleo at 480 7th Street, next to the Shakespeare Theatre. Or, if you're willing to try a slightly different tradition, try appetizers only at Bacchus, a Lebanese Rest. on Jefferson Place downtown and Norfolk Avenue in Bethesda.

Or you could try Coco Loco on 7th street. Excellant tapas. There are two parts to the restaurant the Tapas restaurant and a Rotisserie part. Both good but only one specializes in Tapas. Resonable prices too.

Try Gabriel on P street just west of Dupont Circle. It's the restaurant of the old Georgetown Omni, which is now the Hotel Barcello (I think). They have great tapas, which you can get at the bar or sit at a table.

Try Jaleo at 7th and E St.in Northwest. It is just 3 blocks from the mall area by the National Archives. It will be open on the 4th. 202 628-7949.
 Enjoy!

The 701 Club has a small tapas bar. It's located on the ground floor of the eastern building of the Market Square Complex, at 701 Pa. Ave. N.W. Tell Mo the bartender I said hi.
