For resaonably priced seafood in Northern Virginia, try Fish Stories in Fairfax, or any of the dozens of high quality, reasonably priced Asian restaurants in the area: Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese, etc. Most serve seafood in a wide variety of ways. Fortune in Baileys Crossroads and Reston, best known for dim sum, has great seafood. We (ex-Baltimoreans) have just about given up on steamed crabs around here. Also, for a little more money, but worth it we think, is Snappers in the Dulles Hyatt. The signature dish is an enormous whole red snapper cooked in some sort of ginger coating that looks like mud but absolutely seals in the fresh juicyness of the fish. Bob Wells
