Not only for selfish motives (I love the place and am hoping they manage to stay afloat!) I would highly recommend the Cafe de Paris, in the back of the Laurel Lakes shopping center on Rt. 1. They serve great French bistro food, and have a "formula dinner" deal, for I think around $18.95, that includes an appetizer, entree and dessert. The owner is very friendly as well.

Another good bet in Laurel is Pasta Plus, located in between north and southbound Route 1 at Route 198. Better come early on weekends or expect a wait!

only if you let it... Cindy and I eat out a couple times a week, and I eat out a few more (on gigs...)

It does take time to find them, but there are nice little places like Shen Yang (below Beltsville in Hollywood) and El Mexicano (in beltsville) where I usually look at the check and wonder how they can stay in business!

We've never had a bad meal at either place... we've eaten everything on their menu's several times over...

Just simple food, from good kitchens. Almost cost as much to make it myself... and then I'd have to clean up.

Ciao Ventura
