Thanks for the run-down, Michael.
There's another place very worth mentioning.
It's in Rosslyn, off of Lynn, I believe, just a couple of blocks from the Metro. It's called 'Ninja' (again, I could be wrong, but it definitely has a very common-sounding name -- I'm a very visual person... names always escape me... )
Anyway.
For lunch, their AYCE buffet is $10 and opens at 11:30. The service is impecable. They will make-to-order whatever sushi items that aren't on display. Their total table length is in the 20' range including oriental salads, Japanese and Chinese items, tempura and fresh fruit...
Each guest is acknowledged upon entering and leaving.
One drawback: It's small and gets crowded quickly.
However the plentitude of food makes any waiting quite brief.
I need to go back soon....
