We were there ON the day it opened and the situation was the same. I agree with every one of your comments except on specific food items since we had something different. To begin with, the tortilla chips are full of corn flavor, and the salsa is refreshing and nicely spiced. I tried the--I don't remember what it's called, but it's the sampler plate that includes carne asado--and the steak was absolutely delicious. My selection included a tasty potato sop (sop being yet another version of something wrapped in a flour tortilla) and a lovely bean, herb and cheese pupusa. (The menu is Salvadoran as well as Mexican.) A couple of items on the plate arrived cool, but it was the first night and if that was the only problem we had then I have no complaints.
