Although I've only been there once, I thought Persopolis was very good. It's Persian (Iranian?) cuisine. It's a large buffet with a lot of variety for a reasonable price (I forget exactly how much). On Wisconsin Ave. right across from the Farmers' Market.

Persopolis on Wisconsin Ave has a pretty good buffet for $6-7 weekdays

Persian food. They usually have 2 or 3 entrees and some side dishes.
