Well, Tom, NoVA generally includes a rather large area. I live in Arlington County and would recommend without hesitation Mario's Pizza House for a good cheese steak. They are located on Wilson Boulevard on the right as you are heading east just before Clarendon. Marios's has been there for years, has a very loyal clientele, and is regarded by some as an Arlington institution (like Bob & Edith's diner). BTW, you might also want to try their pizza.
