Kinnekaids along Red Lion Row (across from Roy Rogers on Penn Ave.) Good food, moderate prices. TGI Friday's cattee corner from Kinnekaids (in the old Adam's Rib digs). Peruvian restaurant on the south side of H between 20th and 19th. Middle Eastern restaurant across the street. City Cafe on M between 24th and 25th.

Actually, the spelling is "Kinkeads", 2000 Pa. Ave. NW. 202-299-8246.

Ate there at a dinner that should have been truly spectacular, a few weeks ago. It was okay, but it was not spectacular. (The occasion was a meeting of an organization that Bob Kinkead had every reason to want to impress. The food was good, but the design of the meal was flawed, the selection of hors d'oeuvres was not right for the occasion, and the execution of several of the dishes was imperfect. The meal was /exceptionally/ attractive, imaginative, and I'd be willing to let someone else take me there on another occasion.)
