We just came back from dinner at georgia brown's. If we had the money we would probably eat there often. The food was very good I had a chicken and sausage stew and my husband had pepper steak we shared a wonderful scallop and bacon appetizer and a very good side dish of black eyed pea succotash. Their wine list by the glass is ok, not outstanding. I had a so-so zinfandel and an excellent pinot noir. Their coffee was excellent and the pecan pie we had for dessert was very good.

The ambiance is very nice, where we were sitting the tables were not too close together and our table was big enough that we did not feel crowded. The service was attentive and friendly but not too obtrusive.

Portion sizes are large, my husband, who can eat more than anyone I know was not able to finish all of his dinner.

Entrees ranged from about $12-22, the appetizers were in the $4-8 range and dessert was around $6.
