Depends on what you call moderately priced. when I'm in Georgetown, I eat at one of two places: Samurai (where they will rush you in and out), with coupons that appear in the Friday Post (2 dinners for $25.95) and Las Pampas, an Argentine Restaurant, very nice, very relaxed, but a little more $, though not a lot (entrees $9-$18). I love the Churrasco and the mixed grill. The mixed grill comes with a churrasco (marinated steak, grilled) a 1/2 a chicken (also marinated and grilled) and a large Argentinian sausage (called chorizo, but not the Spanish or Mexican kind). They also have some mexican food for less, but for mexican we go elsewhere.

What sort of food ?

Music City Roadhouse, on 30th St, just below M St has good food, serves family style, has music on weekends - the gospel brunch on Sunday mornings is cool. They have a southern theme, and it's fun.

There's also Chadwick's, on K St, and Clydes, on M St. Both small chains, with not bad food - their strong point is that the are not expensive. There's also Mr. Smith's, on M St. Same concept.

Bistro Francais is quite nice (M St - and I think I mispelled that)

Miss Saigon on M St is nice. So is Vietnam Georgetown. (also on M St)

And my current favorite in Georgetown is Il Radicchio (Again, spelling is uncertain.) It's a cool Italian place on Wisconsin Ave, just above M St. Good pasta and pizza. INCREDIBLY cheap by Georgetown standards. I've never had the entrees.

Cafe BaBaLu, (M st again) is unusual mexican style stuff. Inexpensive, tons of food.

Adati - Indian food on M St. Good - not expensive, but a long way from cheap.

That's all I can think of at the moment. Good luck-

I'd recommend Bistro Francais on M St. just off Wisconsin Ave. Its been there forever, and is very gallic in both its food and its attitude. You can sit there forever, and the food is good (if not great). Entrees run in the low teens, or even lower.

Good luck and have a great time,

kari
