Hi Bill!! Coco Loco is both an eating and drinking and dancing place. They have Brazilian food (and awesome drinks - I cant remember what they are called). They have a tapas type menu plus and an all you can eat option with fresh salads and a variety of grilled meats that waiters carve tableside. It is a bit expensive but a fun place to go. At night on weekends (I'm not sure about week nights) there is dancing later in the evening. I suggest you make a reservation if you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night. Good place, great to go with a group. Have fun. Melissa

Coco Loco's?
Bill Burton asks: What's the story with Coco Loco's? What kind of place is it? There's obviously food and drink. Music or dancing? What's the atmosphere and dress style? Coco Loco is a large restaurant that turns into a dj-dance club after hours. Some of the mexican "tapas" are great, and they make wonderful caparinas. The atmosphere is festive and vaguely tropical. I don't really know about the music & dancing scene, since I go for the food and I'm usually leaving just as the nightlife gets going, but.... The DJs seem to have a kind of techno bent, and the 30ish crowd looks "European" and well dressed. Check it out and report back! Larry

M-- Tried it last night. Indeed was great food. The drinks I had had before, caparinas, and theirs certainly were good. We couldn't stay for the dancing--it starts late and we had to return to Metro. Next time we drive! Thanks for the advice. --Bill M G. wrote in article ... > Hi Bill!! > > Coco Loco is both an eating and drinking and dancing place.
