My office used to be located a block away from the Food Factory and we all ate there regularly -- even people who didn't pre- viously like south asian cuisine. The Director of our agency even took VIP guests there for lunch, despite the fact that the Food Factory has negative ambiance. It's a hole in the wall entered through the rear of a small strip mall. You must pass through the odors eminating from a dry cleaners and a shoe repair shop before being bombarded with the aroma of great tandoori food. Also, from the experience of having to cater affairs in my home for sudden Pakistani and Indian guests I can attest to the fact that the tandoori roti (bread) from the Food Factory is the best in the area. The people who work there are also very polite and nice. The only drawback is for those with weak stomachs or sensitive tongues. Most of their roast food is very spicy... particularly their chapli kebab. I have also noticed an incon- sistency in the amount of heat in the same dish from day to day; I can eat one dish one day but find the pepper too extreme for comfort the next. But they have seemed to get a better handle on the ingredients recently. Bon Apetit. Cheers! :-)Umar -------- "The best way to correct yesterday's wrongs is to make tomorrow right." --Gov.
